death

We received a call from David Kimbro that Carol’s mother, Frances Nabors
passed away at 12:05 today.? She had renal failure.? I spoke with Carol and
they are on their way to Davis-Struemp Funeral home to make arrangements.
Carol said she knew where her mom was and that she would be with her dad now
after almost 11 years.

from our missionary in Jordan and Iraq…

Dear Friends and Fellow-Servants,
?
I am writing to you today with a special prayer request. I am departing in
a few hours for the city of Irbil in Northern Iraq. It is believed to be one
of the oldest, (it can be dated back to at least the twenty-third century
B.C.) continuously inhabited cities in the world and is the third-largest
city in Iraq after Baghdad and Mosul. I will be attending a conference of
believers there along with several colleagues. I will share some thoughts
on the Third Person. I will be there from July 4th through July 11th. We
are hoping to determine whether this will be a one-time visit or if we can
develop some long-term friendships there. This is a pivotal week as we are
always seeking to serve others in the regions beyond who may lack the
education we can help to provide. So, as you are enjoying a hot dog (have
one for me!) this weekend please take a moment to pray for the week for us!

?
JoAnne and the kids will be in Jordan without me for the first time so
please pray for them as well. They are in no danger, of course (or I would
not leave them) but they never enjoy it when I am gone and it is that much
harder in a foreign land - I am sure you can understand. Fortunately we
have friends here who will look after them for me until my return.
?
Your friend in the regions beyond,
?

answered prayer

Sometimes God answers prayers quickly… this has been one of them. We are
going to be able to stay in our current home for another year! The owner’s
understand that one month is too fast to move and it would be really
difficult to uproot the kids in the midst of a school year, again! Yeah
God!!!
Thanks for the prayers!

laid off in January, we found out today that our landlord has sold the house
we?re living in, and we must be out by the end of July.? So, we need to find
somewhere else to live and move in less than a month?s time.? Please pray

thanks

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us on Tuesday and Wednesday.? Tuesday?s
evaluation went well, however, the cataract surgery did not take place on
Wednesday.? We did not know about some specific pre-op things that had to
take place for three days prior to surgery (prescription eye drops to be
used) until Wednesday morning.? The surgery is re-scheduled for Wednesday,
July 15th.?

Again, thanks to all who prayed and asked about her, and who are still
trusting and believing God will remove the ?scales from her eyes?, (Acts
9:18) that she may see the truth of her spiritual condition and receive
salvation.

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.

The Flnangan’s

Hi Bro. Billy,

You probably know but Mike Valdez just sent IM that the Flanagans arrived
and are sleeping.? They were all so tired when they arrived.? Their time in
California was a blessing in that instead of a 10 hour layover in Hong Kong
they rested comfortably in a hotel in LA, courtesy of Delta!? When they got
to Hong Kong they just moved to another flight and started the Hong
Kong-Phnom Penh leg of their flight!? God is so good to His children!

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.

Neonta Morrison asks prayer for her financial circumstances, as well as the
ability to maintain her children?s educational expenses as they attend GBCS
in the fall.

We had six First Time Attendee Prayer Request forms turned in of which one
is new to the area and another is looking for a church home.? ?Perhaps we
can pray that each family felt welcomed to our services and that the Lord
would direct them to return.?

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.

Hi Bro. Billy,

Would you please add Bill Cox to our prayer =

months to
